Using funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)’s Low No Grant program, the City of Gainesville purchased three electric battery powered buses to join its Regional Transit System (RTS) fleet. As a result, the City needed site plans and construction documents so it could issue a solicitation for the construction and installation of bus charging equipment.

CHW provided planning, design, and engineering work to develop site plans and construction documents for the City. Additionally, CHW served as Project Manager, overseeing the project’s construction and ensuring compliance with FTA funding regulations and requirements.
