The City of Ocala Downtown Parking Garage consists of 400 parking spaces and will provide a suitable parking environment for citizens and visitors to the downtown area. CHW is providing land surveyor and mapping, civil engineering, and construction administration services.
CHW provided professional civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, construction administration services to the project. Pre-design services included coordination with the City Conceptual Layout and attendance at Public Design Charrette. Engineering services included design and permitting of the structure, sidewalks, driveway connections to Broadway Street and Fort Kings Street, stormwater improvements, utility improvements, and fire protection (hydrants and fire service). Survey Services included preparing a topographic survey for the property prior to development, construction layout services, an as-built survey post-construction, and an elevation certificate. Landscape Architecture services included the design and permitting of the landscaping, irrigation, and hardscape (benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, and sidewalk paving details. Construction Administration Services included submittal review, RFI responses, reparation of Field Orders, inspection services, and certifications.
