Margot Maurer Passes AICP Exam, Promoted to Professional Planner

GAINESVILLE, FL, February 28, 2024 – CHW is excited to announce the promotion of Margot Maurer to the position of Professional Planner in the Planning + Design department.

Margot has excelled at her role since joining CHW as a Project Planner in 2023, quickly becoming a key member of the team. Her background includes a unique blend of expertise in legal matters and urban planning, underscored by skills in comprehensive research, project management, and regulatory permitting.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida, a Bachelors Degree in Political Studies from Indiana University, and a certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of Tulsa. In 2021, she was awarded the Carl Feiss Urban and Environmental Design Award for her graduate-level studio work, papers, and presentations.
