ALACHUA COUNTY, FL- Alachua County and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce held the Alachua County Business Forum on Thursday, May 19, 2016. This forum is a public-private partnership between the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Updates were presented on economic development initiatives that improve the climate for starting and growing businesses in the County.

Private Sector/Manufacturing Panelist
Ryan Loftus, Chair of the Chamber’s Advanced Manufacturing Council and Senior Engineering Manager with Exactech Inc.
The County and the Chamber of Commerce solicited feedback from citizens on the current initiatives, and are seeking ideas on how to promote economic diversification.
