CHW was honored to host the American Planning Association’s San Felasco Section and sends out a huge Thank You to guest speakers Mike DaRoza, Bruce DeLaney, and Brian Crawford, and for sharing their insights on how planning efforts positively impact the local economy and quality of life.  Members of the San Felasco Section joined together last Friday to hear community experts discuss the City of Alachua’s history, life sciences economy, and long-term community vision.

After socializing, receiving the speakers’ presentations and keen insight, then a delicious catered lunch, Ryan Thompson offered a bicycle tour to San Felasco Hammock Preserve.  Thank you to all who attended, we look forward to hosting the Section again in the near future!
