CHW provided landscape architecture and concept design services for this 1.5-mile Hart Expressway corridor in Jacksonville, Florida. The project focuses on the interchanges and has a naturalistic approach utilizing hardwoods, pine trees, irrigation, and other incidental work relating to the overall aesthetics of corridor. It is currently in its conceptual design phase, with construction not expected to start until summer 2020. It was developed as a concept in conjunction with District Two’s FDOTree program, a new initiative created to educate the public about the Florida Department of Transportation’s Northeast Florida landscaping programs.
