Members of CHW’s Marketing + Communications team had the pleasure of joining Play Hard Florida as sponsors for their community-focused events, the State of Water Festival and Juried Art Exhibit, celebrating and protecting Florida waters while showcasing the talents of regional artists and raising crucial funds for vital environmental organizations.
The inaugural Juried Art Exhibit at the Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention and the outdoor festival at City of Gainesville’s Depot Park came together as a remarkable testament to the power of art and community engagement in raising awareness and promoting conservation. With over 80 water-themed 2D, 3D, and video entries from regional artists and a day filled with fun and education, the events drew people from all walks of life.
The funds raised through these events directly support Current Problems’ focus on tackling water pollution through community-based efforts and Florida Springs Institute‘s work to tirelessly to restore and protect the state’s unique springs systems through scientific research and advocacy.
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the success of these events and to support the important work of Current Problems and the Florida Springs Institute. As we continue making a positive impact on the environment and our local communities, we look forward to fostering community building through future events like these, celebrating the beauty and importance of Florida’s natural resources.
