CHW Professional Consultants announced the award of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with the National Park Service, as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Architect-Engineering (A-E) Team led by Walker Architects. Projects under the IDIQ will primarily be within the Southeast Region, which includes the states, possessions, and territories of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands (primary geographic area).
Since 1916, the National Park Service has been entrusted with the care of U.S national parks. With the help of volunteers and partners, they safeguard these special places and share their stories with more than 318 million visitors every year. Home to over 400 national park sites! Within the system, 63 sites include “National Park” as part of their proper names such as Acadia, Everglades, Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone.
CHW will provide Planning, Surveying + Mapping, Site Design and Permitting, Transportation and Traffic Engineering, Construction Engineering Inspections (CEI) and Sustainable Design as part of the Multi-Disciplinary team.
